In a move that surprised many (or didn’t) Rockstar has decided to push back the release date of GTA V for PC and new generation of consoles to March 24th. This move from a personal perspective sounds logical since the Rockstar wants to make sure that all the bugs are squashed and that there isn’t any problem with game running on PC’s and consoles, like with GTA IV.
There is that, as well the bad feeling that AAA games in 2014 left a bitter taste in the mouth of lot of gamers with their buggy and unstable release like with Watch Dogs or Assassins Creed Unity. Those two are open world games and it makes sense that you want to make sure that that kind of failure on release doesn’t happen with your game. We’ll see if the delay was reasonable and if it was the right thing to do.
